Chardonnay & Cie

Founded in 2018 by Guillaume Plée in the Part-Dieu district of Lyon's 3rd arrondissement, Chardonnay & Cie established itself as a neighbourhood cellar where advice comes first. Every reference is tasted and chosen by hand, often from independent winegrowers, with particular care given to organic wines, foreign bottles and rarer finds such as Japanese wines and whiskies.

Over the years, the house built its reputation on a sharp selection and a genuine generosity of exchange: a food-and-wine pairing to compose, a gift idea to find, a discovery to share at the counter. This way of welcoming, both demanding and warm, made the cellar a trusted address for connoisseurs and the curious alike.

In 2026, Chardonnay & Cie takes a new step by setting its bottles down at the Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse, the historic showcase of Lyon's gastronomy. Here you find the spirit of the house: a living cellar paired with a wine bar, where you take away your favourite vintages or sit down to enjoy a glass, at the very heart of Lyon's temple of fine eating.
